GHOSTS The Musical created by William Allen Jones, was first produced in October 2006 as part of the 100th Anniversary of the Historic Mishler Theatre. The show was an instant success winning over audiences and successfully launching Jones’ theatrical music career. In June 2008, the show was produced as a staged reading at the York Theatre on Lexington Avenue in New York City. Members of the staged reading included such Broadway notables as Emily Harvey (Phantom Of The Opera, Les Miserables, Mary Poppins), Julie Foldesi (Newsies, South Pacific, Little Women) and Alex Brightman (Wicked, School Of Rock, Beetlejuice).
In 2011, GHOSTS The Musical was produced as a full-length, independent film. The film version of the show was accepted and presented in some of the nation’s largest and respected Film Festivals including Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood (Award Of Merit), Accolade Film Festival (Winner), Buffalo Niagara Film Festival (Finalist), Las Vegas Film Festival (Finalist), Hoboken International Film Festival (Official Selection) and the Manhattan Film Festival (Official Selection).
GHOSTS The Musical on stage and in film has been licensed and produced numerous times locally and nationally by universities, theaters and in amateur productions. The show has been performed in Texas, Indiana, New York, Pennsylvania, Nevada, New Jersey and California. In 2025, the production was revived featuring new staging, new musical arrangements and additional music and songs. An all-new Cast Recording is currently available on all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, YouTube Music and more!
